| BMS demands to de notify ESI Model Hospital from Covid-19 to normal Hospital | | |

Jammu, July 1: Hundreds of industrial workers today hold protest demonstration at Bari Brahmana under the banner of Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh against the administration for converting the 50 bedded ESIC Model Hospital Bari Brahmana for corona positive patients in a mechanical manners without considering the plights of the workers.
The protesters also submitted memorandum to Chief Secretary chairman disaster management for de notifying the ESI hospital from covid 19 to normal Hospital.
While addressing the workers Harbans Choudhary senior leader and BMS Representative in ESIC advisory board and Member ESI Hospital Development committee said That from the last more than one month workers i.e. insured persons their families and pregnant female employees are suffering as 500 to 600 OPD Patients are being deprived from treatment and indoor treatment is also suspended and no any alternative arrangements were made.
Achok Choudhary state General Secretary BMS said that on numbers of time we had brought this issue in writing in to the notice of LG and also in to the notice of Dr. Jatinder Singh Ji and other authorities and even Bari Brahmna industry association also highlighted this issue but till date no any action has been taken which shows administration is not serious in solving the public grievances.
It is pertinent to mention here that this ESIC Hospital is totally run on contributions from workers and their employers and not a single penny is contributed by the state or central Govt. |
