Jammu, July 1: The CGST Commissionerate Jammu today celebrated the 3rd Anniversary of ‘GST Day' on 1stJuly, 2020 at Headquarters office, OB-32, Rail Head Complex, Jammu. The day commemorated the launching of taxation reform on 01.07.2017 which fulfilled the dream of “One Nation One Tax”.
The said celebration was held with limited gathering and while strictly adhering to the social distancing norms and guidelines issued by Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of health & Family Welfare. The function was presided over by C. L. Dogra, Additional Commissioner, CGST Commissionerate, Jammu and was attended by Dr. Gaurav Mittal, Deputy Commissioner, S.K. Gupta, Assistant Commissioner, Dr. Safdar Ali, Assistant Commissioner, Vikramaditya Meena, Assistant Commissioner, Abhiroop Aryan, Assistant Commissioner, Dr. Ajay Tadia, Assistant Commissioner, Ashwani Kumar, Superintendent and other staff. The Commissioner, CGST Commissionerate, Jammu, H. B. Negi offered his greetings and congratulations to the staff, trade, industries and all the taxpayers of the state on having successfully completed 03-years of the new tax regime. He also appreciated their full support and cooperation in transition as well as in compliance of the new tax regime. He further stated that the department has always been dedicated to serve and felicitate the trades and industries in the state.
He further assured that the officers of the department shall always be at the service of the taxpayers to guide and support in complying with the new tax regime and any inputs or suggestions in this regard shall always be welcomed. |
