Gdc Paloura organises national level online poster making competition

Jammu, July 2: Govt. Degree College, Paloura(Mishriwala), Jammu organized Online Poster Making Competition on the Eve of International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking under the guidance of Prof. Ramneek Kaur, Principal of the college. Prof. Narayan Dutt was the Convener of the competition. The Competition was organized by Dr. Sanjay Kapoor (Assistant Prof. Chemistry), NSS programme Officer and Amit Sanotra (Department of Computer) of the college. The Purpose of the competition was to spread awareness amongst the young students about the dangers of drug abuse and the ways to deal with it. Students from various colleges took part in the Competition.
The Participants were adjudged by Prof. R.K Bamezai, HOD Chemistry, University of Jammu and Dr. Rama Badyal, HOD Psychology, GCW Gandhi nagar, Jammu. The First Position was bagged by Kalpana Yadav of GDC Paloura, the Second by Vijay Kumar of GCET, Jammu and the third by Deepika Sharma of Govt. MAM College Jammu respectively. Geetanjali Sharma of KC College of Education and Imtiaz Ali of GDC Paloura Jammu were declared Runners up. E-Certificates will be sent to the above mentioned participants accordingly.
