| JKTJAC demands delegation of DDO powers, postings of ZEOs | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July 3: JKTJAC has demanded delegation of DDO powers to all the vacant posts of ZEOs in J&K UT as the employees of education department are suffering badly.
In a press statement issued here today, JKTJAC president Vinod Sharma said that the posts of ZEO Babey and ZEO Ghordi in District Udhampur are vacant for last more than two months and hundreds of teachers are without salary for last two months due to which their families are suffering badly. He also said that similar problem is in some other districts.
He appealed Principal Secretary School Education to personally intervene in this regard to delegate the DDO powers of the said zones at the earliest so that teachers of these zones may not suffer any more. He also appealed Principal Secretary to fill all the vacant posts of ZEOs and other DDOs for the welfare of the employees of the education department.
