Director RDD&PR visited remotest parts of Kishtwar, inspect developmental works

Jammu, July 3: On the 2nd of Kishtwar District your, Director Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department Jammu ,Sudarshan Kumar today visited the remotest parts of Kishtwar District and inspects various developmental works in Nagsini and Mughal Maidan block.
As per the details available with Early Times, Director RDD&PR visited Bhata Panchayat of Mughal Maidan area which is considered as one of the remotest area of Kishtwar District once dominated by the presence of huge number of militants.
During his visit to Bhata and Sigdi A and Sigdi B Panchayats, Director RDD interacted with various locals and PRIs who laid stress for cement oriented works- particularly in construction of Pakka paths as the area witnessed many cloudburst due its presence at high altitude.
On 2nd day of the tour director inspected a number of developmental works and specially appreciated the work done under PMAY(G) in block Nagseni. There he also interacted with BDC Chairpersons, Sarpanch,panches beside also visited the Kwar Panchayat of Nagsini block where Director after coming across with the Early Times story on priority rush to the Panchayat to witness the local women’s moulding the bricks on its own for construction of houses under PMAY(G).
Director appreciated the good work done by block Nagsini and Mughal Maidan and impress upon the BDOs and their subordinate staffs to carry forward the developmental works with zeal and zest.
In the evening Director also held a meeting with ACD ,XEN, BDOs and other field functionaries of RDD Kishtwar and directed them to start atleast one work under MGNREGA in each and every ward of all the Panchayats,100% completion of estimation on Secure,timely payments to job card holders, completion of 100% AADHAAR seeding besides he impressed upon all Officers and officials to work with utmost honesty and dedication so that the benefits of various welfare schemes may reach to needy and deserving beneficiaries with active participation of PRIs.
During the visit , Director was accompanied by ACD Kishtwar Kishore Singh Katoch,XEN REW Kishtwar Aftab Ahmed ,BDOs ,AEE REW Kishtwar Ashok Kumar and other field functionaries.
