India On The Right Course

Omkar Dattatray

India has caught the bull by the horns by using the multifaceted strategy against the Dragon china by utilising all options at its disposal in countering china at the border. The stand-off between China and India is going on but India is on the right track and as a matured nation and leadership is using all means to tackle its cunning neighbour China. India has rightly taken recourse to political, economic, diplomatic and digital means to address the stand-off. The mature response of India has unnerved China and that country is now ready to go back to the May and 2020 position. The third round of the military talks is going on and what has transpired between the two sides is that china is ready to go back on the earlier position and thus is the China on the back foot .Thus disengagement process is going on and the forces of both the countries have resolved to maintain calm on the borders and this is a positive achievement and this should be strengthened for the good of the relations of between the two neighbours. The dragon which is showing its teeth is now humbled by the right response of India and is now ready to go back on its earlier position .The seasoned and matured response of India has a positive impact on the relations between the two nations. Indian leadership is rightly harping on the economic, political, digital and diplomatic warfare to address the present stand off between the two countries .China has been cornered economically by India as Chinese products are now banned and the people of India are asking for the total boycott of the Chinese products .India has given a great set back to china as the country has banned the Chinese applications including the Tik Tok. Now BSNL and MTNL has given a jerk to China as both the Indian organisations have banned the Chinese investment and rejected the already floated tenders and this is a big setback to China and thus that country has come to terms The China has been given a economic blow by India as the Chinese investment in Indian projects has been rejected and the Chinese good’s banned in India post the stand-off between the two countries. Indian railways has also rejected the Chinese participation in the railway projects and this is a big jerk to the Chinese firms. India is a big market for the Chinese goods and now with the boycott of the Chinese products and their ban in the market the dragon has been bitten by the economic attack by India and china will come to terms with India. Earlier Indian markets were flooded by the Chinese products and now the situation is not so as the common Indian has boycotted the Chinese goods and this is a big economic loss to the dragon that is showing its teeth. The fact the economic strike is more lethal and strong than the political war and so the china has to pay a heavy price for is misadventure on the eastern border in Ladakh. Along with the economic strike India is also attacking the neighbour for its actions on the border through the digital means and so has India stopped the Chinese applications including the Tik-tok and 49 other Chinese apps. This is a severe jerk to the neighbour and he should mend his ways. Militarily India has augmented its army strength and is ready to give a befitting reply to china if that country will not stop its actions on the borders. The deployment of the additional forces on the border with china India has given a strong and clear message to china that India is not the India of 1962 but the resurgent and powerful India of 2020 and will not be cowed down by the china anymore .Diplomatically china has been isolated in the global community because of the Indian efforts as that country stands isolated by America, Australia, Russia, France, Britain and other countries of the world. China against whom the world has grief and anger over the spread of the corona virus is siding with the India and this is a positive development. Now china has come on the back foot and in the military level third round of talks has resolved to maintain peace on the borders but that country should not be taken at its face value as the neighbour is cunning enough and he cannot be believed and India should be very alert on the borders. However the fact that the china has agreed to go back on its previous position of May is enough to resolve the present stand-off. Anyway India should not lower its guard on the borders but be very alert and cautious even if the dragon has agreed to resolve the issue of the present stand-off peacefully as war is not in the favour of both the countries.
