J&K Govt failed to come to expectations of citizens: UDA
7/4/2020 11:47:48 PM
Early Times Report

JAMMU, July 4: United Democratic Alliance (UDA) said that J&K Government, currently administered by Lt Governor GC Murmu, has failed to come to the expectation to the masses in matters of giving them relief in terms of continued power supply, water supply, agriculture/horticulture benefits, and providing hygienic situations in cities/towns and villages.
In a statement issued here today, Rajiv Mahajan, Spokesperson UDA said people in Jammu feel distressed for continued failure of power in these days when temperature hovers between 35 to 40 degrees centigrade and they sigh against the administration, with subtle feeling that “Jab Modi hai Toh Mumkin Hai”.
“For the first time in these years, Jammu has seen power shut downs from seven to nine hours in different areas making the life of a common man miserable,” he said.
The Lt Governor GC Murmu, who keeps shifting between Jammu and Srinagar, has all the time power supply feeding him in his house add to Raj Bhawans stop.
Does he have the feeling of a common man who has no power man at his home for hours together?
“These people, having been sent by the Central Government, have never understood the pulse of a feel of common citizens who suffers day in and day out.
Let Murmu visit the villages, towns, cities and both capitals of J&K and let him feel what is the travesty of the people in these days where absence of electric power are its frequent shut down makes them sordid against the authorities of the state and Government of India,” Mahajan said.
Mahajan further said “Equally, where is the dispensation of the government doing justice to people of all hues facing innumerous problems of one or other kinds.”
“Lt Governor, his Advisors, his Chief Secretary, the top most bureaucrats attend their offices and leave in covered and secured vehicles to reach their homes and offices without minding for the people of the State who are in sufferance,” he said.
“Let the Government of India wake up about what kind of government you have given to Jammu and Kashmir in terms of bureaucrats- whether there IPS or IAS officers. If you don’t justify your working, these officers should be recalled back and punished for their misadventures and a new set of honest people should be posted in J&K to deliver and address the problems of the people of all hues,” Mahajan said
