69 fresh positive cases, 18 recovered; 30 deaths in north Kashmir including 22 in Baramulla

BARAMULLA, July 4: Out of 227 positive cases, Sixty Nine fresh positive cases were reported today, there are 750 active positive cases, 1893 are cumulative, 18 recovered and 30 deaths have occurred so far in north Kashmir as on date.
According to the district wise positive cases that are available as on July 04, 2020 (Saturday), In Baramulla district, again there was a spike with 57 fresh positive cases that were reported today, there has been an increase in the cumulative cases that have gone up to above 1006, and the active positive cases stands at 563, and cumulative recovered cases are 421, including of 09 recoveries while as 22 death, next highest after Srinagar that have occurred so far in this district.
In Kupwara district, 07 fresh positive cases reported today, while as there are 584 cumulative cases, 159 are active positive cases, cumulative recovered are 418, and 07 deaths have occurred so far.
In Bandipora district, 05 fresh positive cases have been reported in this north Kashmir district today including 03 travelers and 02 others, whereas 303 are cumulative cases, 28 are active positive, 274 are cumulative recovered including 09 recoveries as on date and 01 death has occurred so far. Meanwhile an order was issued by the district magistrate Baramulla vide no: 07/DMB/of 2020, dated 04/07/2020 with regard to containment of Covid-19 imposition restriction under section 144 Cr. Pc in district Baramulla.
An order that is in possession of early times said that, various precautionary measures and advisories with regard to restrict on the movement of people/vehicle and enforcement of lock down measures were issued from time to time by this office in pursuance of the directions to Union Government and Govt of UT of J&K to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infections.
Whereas, fresh guidelines/instruction for effective containment/management of Covid 19 have been issued by J&K Government vide government order no: 66-JK (DMRRR) of 2020 dated 03/07/2020.
It further said that, now, therefore, in pursuance of the fresh guidelines/instruction as mentioned above 1, District Magistrate Baramulla in exercise of powers vested in me under section 144 of Cr. Pc do hereby impose complete restriction on the movement of individuals/ vehicles from 10 pm to 5 am within the territorial jurisdiction of district Baramulla w. e. f 04/07/2020 to 31/07/2020.
However in case of medical emergency, the police/security forces deployed at different nakas for the purpose shall allow the concerned after due security/document check, reads an order copy.
