Congress holds protest at Bishnah

Bishnah, July 4: The Block Congress Committee Bishnah today organised a protest demonstration against hike in petrol and diesel prices. The protest led by Shashi Sharma secretary Pradesh Congress Committee J&K and was joined by Hari Singh Chib District President Jammu rural and other members of District Congress Committee, Block Congress Committee Bishnah, Youth Congres Bishnah, OBC Cell Bishnah, Kissan Cell Bishnah and SC Cell Bishnah and Sarpanches and Panches of the area. Shashi Sharma said that Central excise duty on petroleum products has been hiked more than a dozen times since the BJP came to power. He asked the Central Govt to immediately roll back the hike in price of petrol and diesel prices otherwise Congress party would come on roads. DCC president Hari Singh Chib said today the petrol rate is Rs 83 per litre considering the reduction in crude oil prices of petrol can be reduced by Atleast Rs 10 he demanded that petrol diesel should be brought under GST. Prominent Congress leaders present at the moment were Subash Chander, Rajesh Sharma (Sarapanch Rehal), Gulshan Sharma, Puri, Vijay Tagotra, Nidesh Kumar, Balbir kaith, Rajesh Bhau, Mool raj Sharma, Manoj Kumar, Ashok Sharma, Chunni Bhagat, Vijay Kumar, Anil Sharma, Vijay Gadi, Ranju Sharma (Lambardar), Bachan lal (Lambardar), Rahul Sharma (Rahul Shah), Vikas Sharma, Vardan Sharma,Mukesh Kumar, Jai dev Singh, Nikhil Mehra and others.
