Jammu, July 4: On the Mission to achieve target to cover 100% farmers under KCC Agriculture Department today organised various programmes in Jammu District. In Zone Channi Himmat Sub Division R S Pura Kissan Credit Cards were sanctioned and disbursed to farmers in the presence of Chief Agriculture Officer Jammu Farooq Ahmad Bhatt and Branch Head J K Grameen Bank Kanhal Indu Choudhary at Kanhal.
Pertinent to mention here that on the instructions of Navin Kumar Choudhary, Principal Secretary and under able guidance of Director, Department of Agriculture and Farmer Welfare Jammu Inderjeet, Department is organising camps in all the Panchayats and door to door reach out to identify farmers without KCC and to ensure its covering before July 15. Later on the day Joint Director Slub Smt Daisy Bhan also visited various Panchayats and issued necessary directions for 100% targets.
She also issued Sanctioned Letter to four farmers to their doorstep in Zone Channi Himmat. Officers accompanied were DAO Extension Jammu Yadwinder Sasan, SMS R S Pura Karuna Nidhi, AEO Channi Himmat Surinder Kumar, Paramjeet Kour AEA, Gagandeep Kour AEA, Rahul Sharma and Kapil Slathia AEAs. |
