7/6/2020 10:08:11 PM
EARLY TIMES REPORT

JAMMU, July 6: JKRMSA Subject Specific Teachers have demanded to formulate a clear cut policy for continuity of their services and in the interest of their future.
The aggrieved RMSA teachers said that they are 550 RMSA Subject Specific Teachers including 320 from Jammu division and 220 from Kashmir division working in 110 RMSA-Upgraded Middle Schools to the level of High Schools.
They said that like other employees working under different centrally sponsored schemes including RMSA, we were initially recruited for a period of one year with an inbuilt provision of further extension like other employees. Some other states like, Punjab and Manipur have already regularized RMSA teachers but we were yet to be regularized.
They said that most of us are on the verge of getting over-aged and some have already crossed the upper age limit.
Therefore, it is demanded to frame a clear policy with regard to continuity of services of RMSA teachers.
