19 loan cases approved by DLTFC Kishtwar

KISHTWAR, July 6: Additional Deputy Commissioner, Pawan Parihar today chaired a meeting of District Level Task Force Committee (DLTFC) and approved 19 cases under Prime Minister's Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) and JKREGP.
The meeting was attended by LDM Naseer Ahmad, Cluster head JK Bank, Ravi Sharma, Director SBI RSETI, Sanjeev Gupta, District Officer KVIB Nazir Ahmed, besides other concerned officers.
District Officer , KVIB Kishtwar submitted 23 loan proposals which included kiryana and grocery stores, transport, cosmetics, steel fabrication, furniture, preparation of Readymade garments, welding, carpentry, electronics & repair, cutting and tailoring, automobiles, readymade and stationary, etc. The committee screened and scrutinised all the cases and approved 19 cases for credit linkage through financial institutions after thorough analysis of viability of proposed projects and the entrepreneurial skills of the applicants. The rest of the 4 applicant were found absent at the time of screening.
The committee sanctioned a total Rs 1.20 crore loan to these 19 units. The units are expected to generate employment opportunities for over 40 souls in the district.
