KISHTWAR, July 7: District Development Commissioner, Rajinder Singh Tara, today distributed 28 motorised tricycles among the differently abled persons in a distribution camp organised by Social Welfare Department, Kishtwar. Of these 28 motorised tricycles, 15 have been sponsored by J&K Rehabilitation Council while 13 have been procured by Socail Welafre Department under Prosthetic Aid, informed District Social welfare Officer, Tariq Ahmed Qazi. On the occasion, DDC interacted with differently abled persons and complimented Social Welfare Department for organising the tricycles distribution camp amid COVID-19 pandemic.
Among others present on the occasion were Additional Deputy Commissioner, Pawan Parihar, Assistant Labour Commissioner, Anoop Kumar, Superintendent Bal Ashram Rajesh Sharma and other officials of SDW. |
