GDC RS Pura organizes online Astrology Quiz on Indian astrology

JAMMU, July 7: Department of Sanskrit, Government Degree College (GDC), R S Pura successfully conducted national level online Astrology Quiz-2020 on “Basic Elements of Indian Astrology”
The quiz programme was organized under the patronship of the Principal of the College Dr Sunita Sudan while Dr Rajesh Sharma, HOD Sanskrit was the convener of the event. Also Vinay Salgotra Teaching Assistant from Dept of Computer Application helped in making this online quiz possible. The quiz was based on the basic knowledge of Indian Astrology.
As many as 795 participants from different institutions of the country viz Banaras Hindu University, Janki Devi Memorial College, Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri National Sanskrit University New Delhi, Karnataka Samskrit University, Shri Jagannath Sanskrit Vishvavidyalaya, Shri Vihar Puri, Odisha, K.K.P.G College Etavah, Satywati College Delhi, Mahaveer Inter College U.P, Gurukul Kangri Vishav Vidyala, Govt. H.S.S. Belluru, Kerala, B.N College, Dhubri, Assam, JNVU Jodhpur Rajasthan, MDU University Rothak, School of Languages Gujarat, Janki Devi Memorial College Haryana, Grizzly College of Education Jharkhand and others took part in the quiz.
Sanskrit students, scholars and teaching faculty from various universities and Government Degree Colleges of the UT of J&K also participated in the quiz. All the qualifying participants who secured more than 75% points were awarded with e-certificates.
