| GDC Khour organizes quiz competition | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 7: Department of Sociology & Political Science, GDC Khour today organized Online Inter-collegiate Quiz Competition for the students of 6th Semester to acquaint them about the MCQs pattern of examination recently announced by the University of Jammu.
In Sociology, about 245 students from various colleges across J&K (U.T.) participated in the competition. 52 participants shared 1st place by securing 100% marks. 34 participants shared 2nd place by securing 95% marks and 20 participants shared 3rd place by securing 90% marks.
In Political Science, about 261 students from various colleges across J&K (U.T.) participated in the competition. 47 participants shared 1st place by securing 100% marks. 37 participants shared 2nd place by securing 95% marks and 10 participants shared 3rd place by securing 90% marks.
E-certificates were given to the participants in both the subjects who secured 70% marks and above.
The quiz was conducted by Dr. Neetika Sharma HOD Sociology and Gurvinder Kour HOD Political Science in their subject respectively under the overall supervision of Prof. Hans Raj Principal of the College.
