APS Kaluchak organises online debate competition

Jammu, July 7: ‘Aao Debate Karen’ an online Debate Competition was organised by Master Prabhnoor Singh, a student of class XI of APS Kaluchak for the students of classes VIII to XII on 03 July 2020.
The event was planned in order to enable the students get rid of the stultifying effects of the present situation which had in turn taken toll on their efficiency and caliber. It was instrumental in breaking the flourishing abominable monotony which retreated with the advent of the event and the insipidity vanished in thin air thereby enriching the participants.
The students were bequeathed with the platform to give vent to their opinions on various social, economical, environmental and cultural topics which was an extension of their innate potential. This was an online and on the spot debate competition in a knock out format. A total of sixteen teams (32 debaters) took part in this competition from different schools of Jammu and various other cities.
With no stage fright to bother otherwise reticent students, many took initiative to explore various aspects of the topics given to them. Ms Vianca and Ms Prableen Kour of APS Kaluchak expressed themselves in an exemplary fashion and their team namely Fire Breathing Rubber Duckies clinched the winners title .
The Runner up team namely Kamikazes comprised of Master Sarvpratham Singh of Springdale Senior School Amritsar and Master Siddarth of APS Kaluchak
Master Siddarth, Ms Prableen Kour and Ms Sachita S were adjudged as the top three debaters. They sieved the information from their individual experiences and put forth very apt and relevant examples which were purely correlated with the real life endeavours.
The eloquent participants were appreciated and the winners were accoladed by the Special Guests Hem Lata Vishen, Principal APS Kaluchak ; Rouble Nagi, a prominent social activist and Bhavdeep Ahluwalia, Founder of the organization called LIONISE.
