Highest fresh positive cases since outbreak has gone to 107; 69 recovered, 40 deaths so far in north Kashmir

BARAMULLA, July 8: Out of 330 positive cases, One hundred and seven fresh positive cases were reported today, there are 866 active positive cases, cumulative cases crossed over 2142, while 69 recovered and 40 deaths have occurred so far in north Kashmir as on date.
According to the district wise positive cases that are available as on July 8, 2020 (Wednesday), In Baramulla district, since the outbreak of the pandemic diseases there were 82 fresh positive cases that were reported today, there has been an increase in the cumulative cases that have gone up to 1176, and the active positive cases stands at 645, and cumulative recovered cases are 501 including 51 while as 30 deaths, next highest after Srinagar that have occurred so far in this district.
In Kupwara district, 18 fresh positive cases that were reported today, while there is an increase in cumulative cases that have gone up to 643 cases, 183 are active positive cases, cumulative recovered are 453 including 18 as on date, and 07 deaths have occurred so far.
In Bandipora district, 07 fresh positive cases have been reported in this north Kashmir district today including 01 travelers and 06 others, whereas 323 are cumulative cases, 38 are active positive, 282 are cumulative recovered, and 03 death has occurred so far.
Meanwhile, an order related to massive fumigations in Baramulla town has been issued today by the District Magistrate Baramulla vide no: DMB/PS/3098-3103 dated 08/07/2020.
It said that, in continuation to this office order no: DBM/PS/3035-40 dated 06/07/2020 regarding conduct of massive fumigation of shops and other business establishments in Baramulla town.
It is hereby ordered that all the ships/commercial/financial establishments including vendors in Baramulla town shall remain completely closed on 9th and 10th of July 2020.
During these two days Municipal Council Baramulla shall complete fumigation of all the business establishments, public places, financial establishments and government offices.
