GCW Gandhi Nagar organizes open online dance competition

JAMMU, July 8: An open dance competition was organized at Punjabi Manch by Department of Punjabi, GCW Gandhi Nagar from 5th to 7th July. The competition was conducted under the patronage and guidance of the Principal, Prof Sangeeta Nagri, GCW Gandhi Nagar and HOD Punjabi Dr. Surjeet Kour.
A large number of students of different colleges participated in this event. The event was adjudged by Dr Revika Arora Cultural Coordinator Cluster University of Jammu and Satish Chander, Choreographer from J&K. In this event, Shilpa Bharti Semester 5th, GCW Gandhi Nagar and Ritika Choudhary Semester 1st GCW Gandhi Nagar secured 1st Positions. Varsha Lalotra, Semester 2nd, GCW Gandhi Nagar & Sakshi Devi Student of SPMR college of Commerce secured Second Positions & the third positions was clinched by Ivanka Raman, Semester 4th, GCW Gandhi Nagar, Namandeep Kour Semester 2nd , GDC R.S Pura & Baljeet Kour of Semester 6th, GCW Gandhi Nagar. Kulmehak Singh Johal student of Music of Arts Semester 2nd Punjab University Chandigarh 4th position & Radhika Sharma Student of MIER College of Education 5th Position & Annumpreet Kour student of 3rd semester 6th Position & Gurvinder Kour Semester 4th 7th position GCW Gandhi Nagar. Arpanjot Kour, Dilpreet Kour, Ritika Aggarwal, Jastania, Navleen Kour, Jasleen Kour, Pooja Devi, Vishal Sharma also awarded consolation prizes. The students who have scored high in this competition were awarded e-Certificates.
