Week-long hawan culminates at Jagti

JAMMU,July 8: A week-long hawan has been culminated this morning which was organized by the Mahila wing of BJP Kashmir Displaced District under the leadership of its district president Dolly Raina and her team with able guidance of BJP organizing secretary Ashok Koul and J&K BJP Mahila Morcha president Sangeeta Dogra, at Lane No 23, Jagti camp near here today. The hawan have been performed for the welfare of mankind to get rid off deadly COVID-19 pandemic which has engulfed the entire world in its clutches for the last several months.
The hawan commenced from July 1 with proper social distancing and faces covered with masks of all participants and culminated this morning at 10AM by offering puja archana and recitation of holy Gaytri-Mantras by the devotees here today.The participants were served with prashad after the puran aahuti by the mahila karikartas including Sujata Koul,Meenakhshi Handoo,Shashi Bala and others.
On the occasion KDD Mahila morcha district president Dolly Raina said that the hawan has been performed to seek blessings from lord Shiva to get rid off deadly pandemic COVID-19 from our country mother India and entire world which has claimed lakhs of lives and left millions of people infected across the globe. We have been reciting Gaytri-Mantras and offering special prayers to almighty God to accept so that the deadly pandemic is done to death for ever, Dolly added.
She said that I am committed to highlight the issues of migrants in general and women community in particular at relevant foras and in this regard I will remain working with full dedication along with my team and active support of general public in future too, Dolly maintained.
