| DDC visits Ultrasonography centres, clinics of Doda town | | |  Early Times Report
DODA, July 8: In view of Covid-19 cases being detected among the pregnant women's of the district, District Development Commissioner, Dr Sagar D Doifode, today visited the Ultrasonography centres and general medical clinics operational in Doda town.
DDC enquired about the implementation of necessary guidelines and SOPs regarding COVID-19 in these centres. He strictly directed the concerned to conduct sanitization of these centres on daily basis besides asking them to ensure that social distancing and related preventive measures are being followed by the patients.
DDC also asked the concerned not to conduct check-up of those patients who visit these clinics without face masks besides asking them to restrict unnecessary gatherings in the clinics.
He also directed them to enquire the history of the patients specifically of the pregnant women who visit these centres and sanitise the medical equipments being used during ultrasonography and in operation theatres. He asked them to create a separate space for the pregnant women coming for USG tests in these centres.
Others who accompanied the DDC during the visit included District Epidemiologist Umar Anayat khan, BMEO Ghat Mashhood Zargar and District Media Coordinator NHM Faizan Tramboo.
