| Teenager dies under suspicious circumstances; family suspects murder | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
RAJOURI, July 9: Panic gripped Kha No 2 village of Rajouri when a 15-year-old teenager boy was found dead under suspicious circumstances. The family members of the deceased said that on Wednesday, the deceased Dipu Sharma went to his grandfather’s house located a short distance away from his house and returned home in the afternoon. In the evening, he again went to the village to attend a wedding ceremony. However, his body was found about 100 meters from the house on Thursday morning. People immediately informed the police and the police took the corpse to GMC Rajouri for postmortem. The autopsy was done by GMC doctors and after completing some legal formalities, the body was handed over to the family. Rajouri police have registered a case of death under suspicious circumstances and started investigations.
On the other hand, the family members and the people of the village called it a case of murder, saying that there were clear marks on the neck of the deceased which show that he had been strangulated to death. The family of the decesed pleaded for justice and said that if the police did not bring forth the truth by conducting a fair investigation, then they would come on roads and resort to demonstrations.
