Desperate Pakistan, ultras targeting innocents: Raman Suri
Nation stands by Bari family in Kashmir
7/10/2020 12:16:06 AM
EARLY TIMES REPORT

JAMMU, July 9: Expressing his shock and anguish over the killing of Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) Bandipora leader, Sheikh Wasim Bari, his father and his brother by unidentified gunmen outside their shop in Muslimabad area of Bandipora district, BJP J&K Executive Member Raman Suri today said that this is nothing but an act of frustration and cowardice.
He said, like Parihar brothers in Kishtwar, Sadhus in Palghar and BJP workers in Kerala, these killings in Kashmir are aimed at intimidating BJP and its members. These pan-India attacks on BJP leaders and workers are not going to cow us down and the party stands by the families of all those who sacrificed their lives.
Referring to Kashmir killings, Raman Suri said, now that Hurriyat Conference has lost its relevance, militancy is on last leg, enemy nations are making futile attempts to sneak militants into this side of border and enemies within the nation are just making a last attempt to survive, this killing is also in series of these cowardice acts.
Raman Suri said that the whole nation is with the family of Sheikh Wasim Bari. It was him, who condemned the killing of Sarpanch Ajay Pandita and now, he became the target of militants. Those who stand by righteousness, condemn the cowardice acts of ultras and support the soldiers are targeted by these militants. This will be avenged by the soldiers.
