Awareness camp organized at Ramgarh Samba

SAMBA, July 10: A Block Level Kissan awareness camp under Kisan Pakhwada was today organized at Jarh Abtal Block Ramgarh of district Samba in collaboration with Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry and other allied departments. More than 150 farmers of block Ramgarh and adjoining area participated in the camp. All farmers were made aware about various schemes besides benefits of KCC and how they can apply for KCC. Several banks have filled 100 KCC forms out of which 20 Kisan Credit Cards were issued on the spot by J&K Bank Ramgarh. Dignitaries from the organizing departments briefed the farmers about schemes and activities of their department and role of KCC to boost the rural economy. Spawn Production Officer, Aman Jyoti apprised the farmers about cultivation of Mushroom through the year and how farmers can fetch maximum return from Mushroom cultivation.
Chief Agriculture Officer, Sanjay Kumar Verma, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Dr. S.P Verma, District Agriculture Officer, Satish Sharma, Subject Matter Specialist, Tilak Raj Sharma, Subject Matter Specialist(DL), Aman Jyoti , Sub Divisional Agriculture Officer, Dolly John, Agriculture Extension Officer, Ramgarh, S. Ajit Singh and Branch Manager J&K Bank Ramgarh, Suresh Nagpal and Vijay Kumar and all JAEO’s and AEO’s of Zone Ramgarh were present on the occasion.
