Kavinder takes stock of basic amenities in Gandhi Nagar constituency

Jammu, July 10: Former Deputy Chief Minister & senior BJP leader, Kavinder Gupta conducted an extensive visit to the interiors Raipur Satwari, Belicharana, and Qasim Nagar areas falling in Gandhi Nagar Constituency, and reviewed the status of public amenities available to the public. At one of the location visited, while addressing the gathering Gupta said, Modi Government’s development policy is based on consistency and clarity. Asserting that the union Government has a very strong development policy, Gupta said it is making a distinction and the J&K has witnessed a vast inflow of funds for the development projects in the Union Territory and this policy is bearing fruits. He said that concerted efforts are being made to develop Gandhi Nagar constituency on modern lines with basic amenities like better road connectivity, uninterrupted power supply, safe drinking water, healthcare facilities and better education infrastructure. Taking note of necessary interventions required to upgrade the basic infrastructure in the locality including constructions of lanes, drains, roads, drinking water and other concerned departments, Gupta said every nook & corner shall be developed on modern lines. Speaking on the occasion, Kavinder Gupta informed the locals that many works earlier brought to his notice have either been completed and for the remaining works codal formalities have been completed and soon the work shall start. For some works detailed project reports are being prepared for execution. Gupta was accompanied by District President-Vinay Gupta, Narinder Koki, Mandal Pradhan- Bharat Bhushan Sharma, Kehar Singh, Hardev Singh, Jyoti Parkash and other office bearers of BJP District team. Locals also appreciated the efforts of the Kavinder Gupta and expressed their gratitude for taking up their pending demands time to time, on priority and also brought some other issues to his notice for early disposal
