Jammu, July 10: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC ) emphasized to all community people that July 13 to be observed globally as “Black Day” every year as this day in 1931 marks the beginning of the first organized genocide of Kashmiri Pandits, when there was loot, massacre, arson and killing of the Kashmiri Pandits and others. Kundan Kashmiri President KPC while stressing his community to observe July 13,2020 as Black Day by hoisting black flags on houses and business establishments and by wearing black badges and said that the present plight of Kashmiri pundits in exile has a direct link with what happened with the community for hundreds of years in Kashmir and became victim of human rights violations and atrocities time to time So, community people should not forget their innocent brethren who laid their lives and made sacrifices for the community and country. He also urged his community people to remain united to fight against the injustice and the rights snatched from them. |
