Udhampur, July 10: All Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh Teachers Federation (AJKLTF) under the aegis of Akhil Bhartiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh (ABRSM), Udhampur unit organises Gurubandan Karyakaram in which the teachers, students, eminent educationists and citizens participated.
Shaikshik Mahasangh celebrates Gurubandan programme during 'Gurupurnima' on the eve of jayanti of Mehrishi Ved Vyas ji all over the country every year. The same programme was celebrated by the Udhampur unit of the Federation.
The programme was started by lighting of the traditional lamp and flowering on the pictures of Maharishi Ved Vyas ji, Saraswati ji and Bharat mata by the Chief spokesperson, followed by song of the Organisation sung by Pritam Singh Addll District Secretary. Dr Khem Raj Sharma, who was the Organising Secretary stated the aims and objectives of the Organisation. Dr Ajeet Kumar who was the Chief spokesperson during his address said that: The main purpose to celebrate Gurubandan karyakaram is to uphold and preserve the thousands of years old Indian Guru values, culture and tradition, which developed Ancient India as a model society.
Since time immemorial, the Gurus/Teachers/Acharyas always kept the nation ahead by giving effective education based on Indian tradition, culture and values. Due to the hard and tough work of our Gurus, India produced several Rishis and great personalities. Keeping in mind the values and great work of Maharishi Ved Vyas ji, we want to preserve this system. |
