JKMEF condemns attack on health employee

Jammu, July 10: An emergency meeting of Jammu Kashmir Medical Employee Federation (JKMEF) , Jammu was held today in the office chamber of Jammu Kashmir Medical Employee Federation Jammu under the chairmanship of Sushil Sudan President JKMEF to discussed the attack on health employee at quarantine centre Thandi Khui Distt Samba. All the participants present in the meeting strongly condemned the attack on the health employee who are performing their duties tirelessly round the clock in this covid-19 pandemic. The speakers urged the Govt to take the stern action against the culprit under the disaster management act and make sure the safety of the health employee. The speakers also demanded the law enforcing agencies should be made accountable for such type of security lapses.
President, Sushil Sudan appealed to Govt to make sure the safety of the health employees on priority and also solve the problems faced by the health employees on ground regarding the collection of sample collections. The sample should be collected at different places to avoid the chaotic conditions.
The federation also submitted a memorandum to Director Health Services, Jammu and discussed the prevailing situation and the burning demands of the employees regarding the clearance of DPC and Wash room for health employees working in directorate complex. Director Dr. Renu Sharma listened their demands patiently and assured to take action on their demands in a phase manner.
