JKTMA demands reorganization of School Education Department

Jammu, July 12: State president Rakesh Singh under the banner of jammu Kashmir Teacher master Association (JKTMA) accompanied by State vice president Vikram Gupta and State General secretary Vivek Gupta today discuss the issue of transfer and DPC of teachers/masters fraternity.
Rakesh Singh while speaking on the occasion said that there is a need to reorganize the structure of whole school education department in different sections of Elementary, Secondary and senior secondary section along with the creation of new posts for respective sections to streamline the work culture of different sections. Singh urged the honorable Lieutenant governor to frame committee to remove the pay anomaly of different cadres of school education department and elevate the grades equivalent to grades of their counterparts in Other Union territories. State vice president Vikram Gupta expressed his resentment over the delayed approach of concerned education authorities to conduct transfer of teachers as per guidelines of transfer policy and demanded from Principal secretary to conduct transfer of all overstayed General line teachers on rotational basis. “Rationalisation process should initiated after transfer of GLT as Rationalisation would made to suffer those teachers who have already completed their tenure in rural areas .State general secretary Vivek Gupta urged to newly framed committee members to create post of Biotechnology at 10 +2 level in all Higher secondary schools at least at tehsil level keeping in view its valuable contribution in field health sector during covid pandemic 19. Singh urged all the chief education officers to release TA of all teachers for month of April to may 2020 who are engaged for the said period for Distribution of home assignments and dry rice of MDM.
