AIJMS delegation meets CE PDD, Dir Sheep husbandry

JAMMU, July 12: President AIJMS J&K, Choudhary Manmohan along with a delegation comprising of many Sarpanchs and youth leaders of AIJMS Nowshera held a meeting with Chief Engineer PDD Gurmeet Singh and demanded immediate release of ex-gratia in favour of the family of the deceased employee and a govt job in the department for a family member because of the tragedy which happened only due to the negligence of the PDD deptt.
The Chief Engineer listened to the delegation patiently and directed the XEn Rajouri to immediately send the file of ex-gratia, completing all the formality. Further, the delegation met with Director Sheep Husbandry Dr Sanjeev Kumar, in his office chamber and discussed the problem faced by people living in far flung area of Nowshera, regarding the non-availability of Veterinary Doctors, other staff and the Ambulance in the remote areas. Director issued order to the concerned officer of Rajouri for provision of an ambulance in Nowshera and ordered that the doctors and other staff to be present in the panchayat Ganya twice a week without any delay or excuse. Choudhary thanked Director Sanjeev Kumar for taking quick action regarding the problems of people living in remote areas.
In the evening Choudhary visited GMC hospital with the delegation to enquire the health of Ch. Mohinder Kumar who suffered 60% burn and was hospitalized since the day of incident. Choudhary said that being head of the community, he takes it as his responsibility to cover the expenses incurring during the treatment. Choudhary assured Mohinder’s family members that team of AIJMS Nowshera is trying its best to get their two sons admitted in the day boarding school in Rajouri with the help of local administration, with which they have already coordinated for this case.
