Kissan Pakhwada: AH Deptt holds series of camps across District Jammu

JAMMU, July 13: District Animal Husbandry is conducting series of Camps as part of " KISSAN PAKHWADA" in all the Panchyats/villages for the registration and awareness of Kissan Credit Card scheme.
The officers/officials of district Jammu have launched vigrious campaign in order to carry out 100% coverage of the scheme.
So for, around 5000 Kissan Credit Card cases have been sponsored to the concerned branches of banks in their respective jurisdictions.
There is over whelming response from the farmers in every part of District Jammu for this scheme. Most of the Kissan Credit Cards have been issued to the concerned beneficiaries and others are in active process of distribution.
The Animal Husbandry Department Jammu is trying best, and is hopeful to complete the task of 100% coverage by the end of fortnight programme (July 7to July 21 2020).
At all the Panchayats, "KISSAN PAKHWADA" camps are being organised in collaboration with other allied departments, Banks, Agriculture, Horticulture and PRI Members to brief the farmers/beneficiaries about the scheme. On spot registration of Kissan Credit Card Forms are being carried out.
In addition, other beneficiary oriented schemes for Dairy and poultry are being popularised among the farmers in the different panchyats of the District.
Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Jammu has appealed to all the animal, poultry breeders to get themselves registered under the KCC Scheme and get the maximum benefit of loaning @,4% in the working capital investment as per guidelines.
