JAMMU, July 13: An impressive yet simple function was organized by Guru Nanak Educational Sewa Society, Jammu Kashmir under the presidentship of Surat Singh Toofani, President of the Society, to honour the meritorious students of rural and border areas of Jammu and Samba districts.
The Scoiety honoured those students, who have scored 80% & above marks in the 12th & 10th Class examinations, the results of which are declared recently by the J&K Board of School Education, Jammu.
The students were honoured by presenting the Academic Excellence Awards in the shape of the trophy and educational kits by the jury of renowned educationists comprising of Prof Dr. Baljeet Kour, HOD. Punjabi Deptt Jammu University, Dr Satvinder Singh, HOD Govt Dental College Jammu, Prof Dr Pritam Singh, Asstt Dean Students Welfare, Jammu University, Prof. Dr. Manjeet Singh, HOD Govt Degree College Kunjwani Sainik Colony Jammu and Jagjeet Singh, President District Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee, Jammu. |
