56 fresh positive, 1157 active positive cases and 49 deaths till date in north Kashmir

KUPWARA, July 13: Out of 314 positive cases, fifty six fresh positive cases were reported today, there are 1157 active positive cases, cumulative cases crossed over 2513, while 49 deaths have occurred so far in north Kashmir as on date.
According to the district wise positive cases that are available as on July 13, 2020 (Monday), In Baramulla district, 06 fresh positive cases that were reported today, there has been an increase in the cumulative cases that have gone up to 1326, and the active positive cases stands at 746, and cumulative recovered cases are 545 as on date, while as 35 deaths, next highest after Srinagar that have occurred so far in this district.
In Kupwara district, 30 fresh positive cases were reported today including 03 travelers and 27 others, while there is an increase in cumulative cases that have gone up to 802 cases, 318 are active positive cases, cumulative recovered are 473 and 11 deaths have occurred so far.
In Bandipora district, 20 fresh positive cases reported today, whereas 385 are cumulative cases, 93 are active positive, 385 are cumulative recovered, and 03 deaths have occurred so far.
Meanwhile, strict lockdown was enforced in all the districts of north Kashmir, there are reports from Kupwara district that traffic was off the roads, only some private vehicles were seen plying on the roads with a limited number of passengers.
The entire business establishment was closed, except few vegetable vendors, the officials of police and other departments were not allowing the public to roam unnecessarily on roads, said sources.
Same kinds of reports have been received from Badipora district, where the public transport was off from the roads, other business establishments also remained closed.
In Baramulla district, the authorities have already made it mandatory for the general public to wear the masks and maintain social distancing, the people have been told to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SoPs) while moving out of their homes.
