Jammu, July 13: Gursai Police of Poonch district arrested one person with heroin from his possession on Monday.
According to sources, a Police Party led by SHO Police Station Gursai, Poonch Kamal Singh during patrolling duty near Gursai nalla area noticed suspicious movement of two youths.
“On seeing the Police, one of them managed to flee from the spot but another one was chased and apprehended. He has been identified as Aashiq Hussain Shah resident of Harmutta Gursai. During his search Police recovered 18 Grams of heroin from his possession”, sources said, adding that in this connection case FIR No. 64/2020 U/S 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act has been registered and investigation of the case has been taken up. |
