GDC Khour organizes quiz competition

Jammu, July 13: The Department of Mathematics, GDC Khour today organized an Online Inter-Collegiate quiz competition for UG students of 6th Semester. The competition was organized to make the students familiar with the recently announced MCQs pattern of examination by the University of Jammu and also to assess their level of preparation for upcoming final examination.
A total of 30 candidates from various colleges and universities across J&K (UT) participated in the contest and 15 of them qualified the contest by securing more than 65% marks, as minimally required and were awarded with e-certificates.
The 1st place shared by 8 participants, namely Sudha Choudhary, Maansi & Nishma Jamwal of GDC RS Pura, Mehak Sharma of Central University of Jammu, Shafqat Shabir and Mohd Shafit of GDC Thannamandi, Osman Sadiq Malik and Imtiyaz Ahmed of GDC Paloura (Mishriwala) by securing 100% marks. The 2nd place shared by 2 participants, namely Shivani Sharma of GDC Khour and Amit Kumar of GDC RS Pura by securing 98% marks while Faisal Nazeer of GDC Tang Marg Baramulla secured 3rd place. The entire quiz was organized by Prof. Surinder Sharma HOD Mathematics under the supervision of Prof. Hans Raj Principal of the college.
