Jammu, July 14: Jammu Police have rearrested the rape accused who escaped the custody from Talab Tillo Police Post here. In-charge Police Post Sub Inspector Kalicharan here on Tuesday said that the rape accused, who escaped from the custody on Monday morning, was rearrested late last night from Pathankot. The accused namely Pankaj Gupta, had boarded the train and was leaving the town. “We traced him with the help of mobile phone and the train ticket he had booked,” said the cop. He added that a fresh case has been registered against him and his wife also, who arranged a two-wheeler and partied in the crime.
