7/15/2020 12:11:12 AM

Early Times Report

Udhampur, July 14: In response to the demand of laying coal tar on the road leading from Dassiya to Sail, a delegation in president ship of Khoon Block Development Council chairman Om Prakash Singh and Nayab Sarpanch Kail, Nirmal Kesar met with XEn PWD Udhampur. BDC Chairman Om Prakash Singh said that there has been a demand for putting coal tar on the road for a long time, but departmental officials are not taking his problem seriously. Nayab Sarpanch Nirmal Kesar of Panchayat Kail told that common people are suffering due to departmental negligence. The condition of the road is so pathetic that even walking a vehicle away is not free from danger.
Large pits have been made in different places in the road. People from dozens of villages in the area visit this road daily, but the seriousness of improving its condition is not being shown. According to them, this road goes through Kail Panchayat to Sail Panchayat. The process of tendering should be started by making a DPR from lunka pani to mela and the process of tendering will also started. On the other hand, Om Prakash Singh, chairman of the Block Development Council Khoon, said that the work for the construction of the road for two and a half kilometers was approved, but till now the tender process has not been started. People who came with the same delegation warned that if the construction of the road does not start within a month, then they will be forced to protest.
