Horticulture Deptt holds Kisan Pakhwada camp 7/15/2020 12:12:42 AM Early Times Report Jammu, July 14: The department of Horticulture Khour organized Kisan Pakhwada farmers awareness camp at Samwan Khour. The camp was organized under the directions of Chief horticulture officer Jammu Dr Sarabjeet Singh and was attended by Block Development Council Chairperson Samwan Parveen Sharma. Speaking on the occasion BDC chairperson urged the orchardists to take full benefit of credit facilities under various schemes by registering themselves under KCC. He also called for mass awareness of farmers welfare schemes with the aim of doubling the farmers income. Later, Horticulture development officer Khour Dr Amit Saraf also aware farmers about the various centrally sponsored schemes which are being implemented in horticulture sector and the credit available for the welfare of farming community.
