Consensus and Co-operation are the Watchwords
7/15/2020 12:13:08 AM

Omkar Dattatray

When the people of the country are facing the threat of coronavirus and when India is facing a hostile and deceitful neighbour in the eastern Ladakh, the only hope is the co-operation of the people and consensus in the government and opposition .In other words we can say that the consensus and co-operation can help us to get rid of the present crises and therefore consensus and co-ordination cannot fight the coronavirus directly but can help us indirectly in our fight with Coronavirus. The mahamantras of consensus and co-operation will help us in our fight with coronavirus and also with the dragon that is threatening us and making transgressions in the Galwan valley. Though, we can say with certainty that the qualities of consensus and co-operation cannot fight directly but are of great help in our fight with covid-19 and also with our hostile neighbour. As they say union is strength and this is applicable in all cases and circumstances and therefore these attributes are of paramount importance in our fight with our neighbour and also with the coronavirus. Therefore we should give much importance to these attributes if we want to be successful in the long run. There is no exaggeration in saying that these two characteristics are a great cure for our country in the times of the present crises. Thus there is great need to enhance the consensus and co-operation in the present times of the crises d to come out victories in the medical emergency and also in political exigency. Thus the notion of consensus and co-operation are required in the governmental circles and in the common people too. These are the guiding forces in the time of the crises and should be used to fight the epidemic and the hostile neighbour who is eying our land and threatening our sovereignty and the enemy country cannot be given the liberty of playing with our territorial integrity and this has been shown by our army when they did not allow Chinese army to cross to our side and in the standoff our jawans made the supreme sacrifice of life in the line of duty. There is genuine anger in our people as is evident from the protests against the dragon and its deceit and back tracking and not adhering to the agreements between India and China and that country has back stabbed us when twenty of our soldiers’ have sacrificed their precious lives at the altar of the country and their supreme sacrifice will not go in vain as remarked by our prime minister. 130 crore People are behind the army in their job of protecting of the borders and the same co-operation and consensus are their when we fight the deadly virus. There is need of consensus to fight the virus and this can be done when our people will remain indoors and when they make use of SOPs while in their routine work and when we are working outdoors. The best medicine to fight back the covid-19 is that we observe lockdown and also to obey governmental guidelines while working outside or when venturing outside. By confining ourselves indoors we will not be inviting the covid-19 and thus the best way to prevent the virus from spreading is the prevention as they say prevention is better than cure and this dictum should be followed while fighting the coronavirus and therefore we should observe the precaution in the fight against the deadly virus which is threatening our lives today and we have to learn to live with the coronavirus and the best way is to observe the SOPs while working or while interacting with the other members of the society. Thus in the times of epidemic as well as at the time of protecting our borders we should bank upon the mahamantra of consensus and co-operation to come out victorious. Therefore we should fallow the mantra of consensus and co-operation which will help us in our fight with the coronavirus and in the fight with our hostile neighbour. It fallows that the best panacea for the epidemic is consensus in the government and the opposition parties which is generally seen in the times of national crises. Thank God the consensus and cooperation is there in the ruling class and the opposition and this is a good omen for the country. Anyway consensus and co-operation are the watchwords and should be followed for collective success.
