Jammu, July 15: All Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh Teachers Federation (AJKLTF) under the aegis of Akhil Bhartiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh (ABRSM), celebrated Gurubandan Karyakaram via virtual mode in which the teachers, students, eminent educationists and citizens participated.
Shaikshik Mahasangh celebrates Gurubandan programme during 'Gurupurnima' on the eve of jayanti of Mehrishi Ved Vyas ji all over the country every year. The same programme was celebrated at the State level by the Federation.
The programme was started by the introduction and welcome of the chief spokesperson and other participants by Rattan Sharma State General Secretary of the Federation. He also explained the aims and objectives of the Organisation. Jagdish Kaushik , Uttar Kshetra Pramukh of Shaikshik Mahasangh who was the Chief spokesperson during his address said that the main purpose to celebrate Gurubandan karyakaram is to uphold and preserve the thousands of years old Indian Guru values, culture and tradition,which developed Ancient India as a model society .Since time immemorial, the Gurus/Teachers/Acharyas always kept the nation ahead by giving effective education based on Indian tradition, culture and values .Due to the hard and tough work of our Gurus, India produced several Rishis and great personalities. Keeping in mind the values and great work of Maharishi Ved Vyas ji, we want to preserve this system.
