Jammu, July 15: Dr. Banarsi Lal, Incharge, Senior Scientist-cum-Head of Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Reasi of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu (SKUAST-J) has been selected for the prestigious ‘Best Scientist Award’ by the Education Expo TV (EET CRS) in the 8th Faculty Branding Awards-2020. Education Expo TV (EET CRS) is India’s esteem research and branding organization. It recognizes the outstanding achievements and accomplishments of the scientists, academicians and institutions working in the science and technology fields across the globe.
Faculty Brand Awards research panel considered Dr.Banarsi for the prestigious Best Scientist Award on the basis of his research papers in reputed journals as first author, books as first author, book chapters as first author, popular and research articles as first author, success stories as first author, case studies as first author, Radio/TV talks, invited talks, trainings imparted, consultancy services, SHGs/Farmers Clubs managed, indigenous varieties acknowledged under PPV&FRA act, research and extension technologies refined, developed and disseminated, promotion of organic agriculture, projects handled etc. for the welfare of the farming community. Dr. Banarsi has written more than 500 publications as research papers in national and international journals, technical bulletins, leaflets, folders, books and book chapters, popular and research articles, success stories/case studies, training manuals, short communications etc. |
