Jammu, July 15: Department of Sanskrit, Govt. Degree College Ramnagar, successfully conducted National Level one day online Sanskrit quiz on the theme “Well-Known Playwrights of Sanskrit Literature – Mahakavi Bhaas, Kaalidas and Bhavbhuti”. The quiz was organized under the patronage of Principal of the College, Dr. Udhey Bhanu. HOD Sanskrit and Convener of the event, Dr. Om Parkash, actively conducted the online quiz. Asst. Prof. Aditya Sharma was the coordinator of the event.
More than 400 candidates participated in the quiz which included faculty, research scholars and students from different Colleges, Universities and other Institutions of the country. All the qualifying participants who secured more than 75% points were awarded Printable e-certificates.
Dr. Udhey Bhanu, Principal of the College, appreciated the efforts of Sanskrit Department and stressed on the importance of conducting such online activities especially in the wake of Covid-19 pandemic. |
