| Plantation drive under Van mahotsav 2020 carried in Pouni Block of Thakrakote Range | | |

Pouni, July 31: Today the plantation drive was done at Tehsil office Pouni,Range Office Thakrakote and Yagya shalla to mark the celebration of Van-Mahotsav 2020.
More than 100 plants were planted of different species. Plantation was done in presence of Tehsildar pouni, Range officer Thakrakote and BDC chairman Pouni under the overall supervision of Divisional Forest Officer Miss Jyotsana IFS who asked the locals present on the occasion to plant more and more plants during this moonsoon. Earlier DFO was warmly received by Lekh Raj Tehsildar Pouni,Sunita Devi Sarpanch of panchayat Pouni, along with her team of PRIs and locals.
Mata ki chunni and flower bouquets were presented to her on the occasion. Among others who helped in the smooth conduct of program includes Daleep Kumar, Brahm Dutt, Rajinder khajuria, Sanjeev Kumar Sharma, Joginder Singh(teaching fraternity) Hans Raj. |
