| Councilor Anu Bali, CDPO Jammu visit Anganwari Centre in Ward 24 | | |

JAMMU, July 31: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Councilor Anu Bali, CDPO Jammu Akanksha Kalsotra and Supervisor ICDS Project Kanta Sharma on Friday visited Anganwari Centre in Ward 24 to assess and review about the problems being faced by the centre.
On the occasion, Councilor, CDPO Jammu and Supervisor ICDS Project checked the registers of year 2019-20 including the ration being distributed by the centre among beneficiaries.
The officials of ICDS and Anu Bali distributed supplementary nutrition and ration among the children of Anganwadi centre on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Anu Bali said that in view of the COVID-19 lockdown, the efforts are being made to supply food items at the door step of Anganwadi centers and the drive will continue till all the centers are covered.
CDPO Ankansha Kalsotra while speaking on the occasion informed that under this project, Anganwadi centres which are registered and the supplementary nutrition has been distributed among centers comprising of large number of beneficiaries, so far. |
