Early times Report

Jammu, July 31: Within hours after administration has extended detention of Public Safety Act (PSA) of former chief minister, Mehbooba Mufti by another three months, PDP leaders started raking up Hindi-Muslim issue to exploit sentiments of the people.
Shockingly Mehbooba Mufti, through her tweeter handler retweeted the tweet in which party leaders have shamelessly highlighted the religion of the officers/officials deployed at Raj Bhawan.
“Not a single kashmiri/muslim in #JKRajBhavan. One of the biggest achievements and highlights of @PMOIndia, @HMOIndia”, PDP leaders tweeted on official twitter handle of the party and the same was endorsed by Mehbooba Mufti.
Official twitter handle of the PDP mentioned the names of all employees of Raj Bhawan to rake religious sentiments just to create disturbance and divide people on religious lines.
For the quite some time, Mehbooba Mufti and her party has been trying to rake up Hindu-Muslim issue to raise emotion of the people of Kashmir who have, so far, not shown any anger against continues detention of former chief minister. Majority of the population of Kashmir Valley is happy with the detention of Mehbooba because people had experienced governance of Mehbooba Mufti led PDP-BJP government which had crossed all limits of corruption.
“I’d like to confirm media reports that Ms Mufti’s PSA has been extended until November,2020. The petition challenging her unlawful detention has been pending in SC since 26th February. Where does one seek justice?”, Mehbooba’s daughter tweeted on the official handler of her mother.
Earlier, PDP leader, Naeem Akhtar had made an attempt to give religious colour to abrogation of Article 370 by stating that the Narendra Modi government has made Kashmir the “foundation stone” of its attempts to remake India as a “Hindu rashtra”, or a Hindu nation.
Similarly July 21, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) had claimed that development was the last priority of Delhi’s dispensation in J&K and that administration has only been busy executing RSS’s plans aimed at disempowering & disenfranchising the people of J&K, changing its Muslim majority character by engineering demographic change and facilitating organized loot of the natural resources at the hands of non-state subjects.
