EARLY TIMES REPORT

JAMMU, Aug 2: The Kashmiri Pandit Sabha (KPS) Jammu has urged the KP community to pull all stops and participate in the celebrations of the foundation ceremony of Shree Ram Janmabhoomi temple in a befitting manner to convey gratitude to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for achieving this longstanding goal of the people of this country.
The construction of the temple will restore to the Hindus their rightful heritage that had been snatched away from them by the Mughal invader Babar in the year 1528.
After a long struggle of five centuries in which thousands of karsewaks contributed from time to time the day has finally arrived when the aspirations of millions of devotees will be fulfilled. Many Rambhakts have even laid down their lives during this struggle and fallen down fighting the bullets of forces inimical towards the cause.
President KP Sabha K K Khosa has urged the KP community in particular to light earthen lamps at their homes to be a part of the celebrations on the 5th of August which also happens to be the day when the obnoxious articles 370 and 35A of the constitution of India were abrogated. The Sabha has decided to suitably illuminate its premises right up from 4th August through 15thAugust and also light earthen lamps on the 4th and 5th of August. Keeping in mind the covid-19 related restrictions no gathering shall be allowed in the Sabha premises, he added. He informed that this year the annual Shobha Yatra on the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami will also not be taken out therefore the celebration
