Lecturers’ Forum demands repatriation employees from Ladakh

Jammu, Aug 2: All J&K Plus Two Lecturers' Forum has demanded repatriation of employees from Ladakh to Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
Deepak Sharma said that a large number of lecturers and other education department employees from UT of J&K are serving in Ladakh region and have not been transferred back to their respective home districts even after completion of stipulated period of of one year in hard areas. He further said that even option was sought from the J&K Government employees to choose between the two UTs of J&K and Ladakh on bifurcation of J&K state but no exercise has been done in this regard to give a sigh of relief to the Employees. It is pertinent to mention that Forum had raised this issue earlier also but no respite has been given to the JK employees working in Ladakh. He further said that Ladakh required initial hand holding earlier but it can self-sustain now and urged Lieutenant Governor GC Murmu to take necessary action.
