| Corporator Anu Bali santiizes entire Ward-24 area after confirmation of positive COVID-19 cases | | |  Early times Report
JAMMU, Aug 03: After confirming of 07 person test positive of COVID-19 in a single family at Ward-24. Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Corporator Anu Bali on Monday conducted a special drive on sanitization of the entire area in and around the area of Ward-24 including thermal fogging to ensure sanitization of the atmosphere so that the chances of virus transmission to others can be minimized to the extent possible
Corporator Anu Bali also visited the entire area and on spot directions were given to Health Officer, JMC to conduct spray of Sodium Hypo Solution in the effected areas on war footing to keep check on spread of virus.
On the occasion, Anu Bali appealed the general public at large to avoid major gatherings in public places and make use of alcohol band sanitizers and masks as preventive measure to do away with this menace. She further stressed upon the residents of area to strictly maintained the social distancing to combat coronavirus pendamic.
The whole exercise was done under the supervision of Health Officer, JMC. Thermal fogging drive shall continue till the eradication of Coronovirus from the entire area. The drive will also be conducted in other residential areas to keep control on spread of such virus.
