JAMMU, Aug 4: Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha today performed hawan and pooja of shilas (bricks) to be used in the construction of Shri Ram Temple at Ayodhya. These shilas will be taken to Ayodhya very shortly in a simple and impressive function held at Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha premises by maintaining social distancing.
DBPS President Ved Parkash Sharma presided over the function wherein vedic scholars performed hawan amid chanting of vedic mantras by all for peace and prosperity in the country.
Addressing the occasion senior members of the Sabha, PC Sharma appealed to the people from different walk of life to celebrate 5th August as foundation day of Shri Ram Temple at Ayodhya with fervor and enthusiasm. While speaking on the occasion, president of the sabha appealed to the global community to honor PM Modi with Nobel Prize of year 2020-21 for his dedication and pro-people approach in the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya.
VM Magotra, Satyanand Sharma, NC Sharma, Subash Shastri, Advocate Chander Mohan Sharma, Shiv Ram Sharma, Gurdas Sharma, Sat Pal Sharma, Ramesh Sharma, ML Sharma, BS Jamwal, Prem Balotra, SC Dass Sharma, were also present on the occasion. |
