EARLY TIMES REPORT

JAMMU, Aug 4: NSUI organized “4G Di Barkhi” on one year of completion of high-speed 4G internet blockage in Jammu and Kashmir under the leadership of Vikas Badhoria, State Gen Secretary NSUI J&K. Badhoria said that when the whole world is fighting with deadly COVID-19, people of J&K is also fighting with the digital pandemic. The people of J&K are devoid of high-speed 4G internet facility from last one year.
He further added that when the students from all over India attending their online classes, studying and preparing for the competitive exam on the internet, J&K students have to struggle on 2G network. When the whole businessmen community is working from their home on the internet, J&K businessmen is still struggling to send consignment on 2G internet, when the whole IT sector of India working from their home on high-speed internet J&K employee is not even able to send an email on 2G internet. Why two data speed in the same country?
Further Badhoria said that even the Lt Governor said that he doesn’t seem any problem with 4G internet everything is normal then why they still discriminate J&K people. The adamant approach of govt is not acceptable as they are playing with the future of J&K. Govt shouldn’t push J&K people to the state of despondency.
Meanwhile, Ajay Lakhotra NSUI activist said that Govt must answer to the grievances of people of J&K. The youth of J&K are already in depression due to unemployment and the blockage of high speed internet led them to the stage of frustration. The J&K UT people here are debarred from internet access on high speed only on the name of national security which seems exaggerated right now so its request to the Lt Governor to restore 4G as soon as possible.
