Jammu, Aug 4: Department of Botany in collaboration with NSS Unit of Govt. Degree College Akhnoor organized Ist phase of plantation drive in the college campus.
The event of tree plantation drive was carried out under overall supervision and able guidance of Dr. Namarta, Principal GDC Akhnoor who laid emphasis to organize such events for the betterment and beautification of the College Campus in near future. More than 200 plants of different varieties were planted on this occasion in the College premises in presence of faculty members namely Prof. Tarsem Lal, Prof. Indeevar Chanyal, Prof. Anil Kumar,Prof. Kuldeep Kumar, Prof. Pawan Kumar, Prof. Suresh Kumar, Prof. Pooja, Prof. Aksa , Prof. Sukriti , Prof. Yogesh Sharma and Prof. Sunil Kumar.
